Jonathan Jaffe

jonathan poloroidAfter working for years as a daily newspaper reporter and executive at a large public relations firm, Jonathan Jaffe recognized a critical void.

Journalists were eager to work with PR people who understand the inner workings of the news business and know what exactly news is. And most large, faceless public relations firms comprise people who know how to write catchy slogans, but can’t recognize the timely information that reporters need.

Bruno Tedeschi

brunopoloroidBruno runs the day-to-day operations of Jaffe Communications, responsible for budgeting, planning, business development and managing and developing staff.

Prior to joining Jaffe in July 2009, Bruno worked for nearly two decades at daily newspapers, getting to know New Jersey intimately while working in seven counties and covering news events large and small throughout the state.

Like the old joke about New Jersey, Bruno's career in newspapers can pretty much be summed up with the question: "What exit?"

Carol Ann Campbell

carolann poloroid

Carol Ann Campbell manages Jaffe-Campbell Health Group. She is an award-winning medical journalist now using her insider's knowledge to strengthen the media profiles of her clients in the world of health care. She understands what health reporters need to write their stories and produce their radio and television programs.

She worked for The Star-Ledger for ten years, where she was named New Jersey Press Association Journalist of the Year in 2008. Accepting her award, she told a banquet room full of journalists that their profession was changing rapidly and they must adapt – but not lose the fundamentals of good communication. Tell the people something they don't already know. Make it clear. The mantra is as true on the front page of a newspaper as on Facebook, Twitter, an RSS feed or press release.
