Thiago Viana

Thiago is a media relations expert who has extensive relationships with the press in New Jersey and beyond.

Before joining Jaffe Communications, Thiago worked in the press office of Newark Mayor Cory Booker, where he helped coordinate press conferences and individual interviews and created and distributed press releases under the direction of the mayor’s press secretary.

Thiago, who speaks fluent Portuguese and Spanish, is heavily involved in the Newark community and plays a key role in the company’s continual expansion in the city.

Thiago graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, N.J. with dual degrees in history and political science. Along with his brother, Rafael, he co-founded a soccer camp for underprivileged inner city youth.

Thiago enjoys coming up with culinary experiments. On the weekends he screams at the television as the San Francisco 49ers lose yet another game.
