Heather Brookhart
Heather, a web designer and media specialist, edits the firm’s news websites daily. An expert in all forms of new media, she also identifies and capitalizes on social networking opportunities for clients.
Heather is also a reporter and editor for a number of the firm’s hyperlocal newspapers, including The Woodbridge News, The Monroe News, The Roselle Roundup and The Highland Park Quarterly.
Heather is a graduate of Rutgers University with a joint undergraduate degree in journalism and Spanish. She is the recipient of the Ladley K. Pearson Memorial award for urban affairs reporting and the Kenneth and Viola Jennings Memorial award for print journalism.
Heather was previously the Metro Editor of The Daily Targum, covering New Brunswick and Middlesex County news. Through her direction on the newspaper’s editorial board, The Daily Targum won the Associated Collegiate Press award for “best four-year college daily” two years in a row. She also worked as a graphic designer for RU-TV and GlobalPACT, a non-governmental organization.
Heather was a finalist to be a MTV correspondent covering the red carpet at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. She’ll win it next year.
